 There is a common misconception that getting certified to scuba dive is very expensive.  So how much does it cost to get certified?  In south Florida you can take the Padi Open Water Diver certification course for as little as $500.  When you sign up for the course with friends or family you can receive a group discount with Learn Scuba With Paul.  2 students in the class for as little as $450, 3 for $425 and for 4 or more students as little as $400.  The price includes all of your rental gear, tanks, weights, classroom session, pool sessions, 4 open water dives, and final certification processing fee.  Open water training dives are done from students choice of Fort Lauderdale, Miami, or Key Largo.  Checkout more information about the Open Water Diver certification course here.
